Originally categorized as Eriocactus leninghausii and, more recently, Parioda, this cactus is found in every collection of cactus through its yellow spiked garment. The apex grows diagonally, inclined to the sun. On larger plants regularly appear the large, pale yellow, in diameter up to 5 cm large flowers.
