This cactus was first found near the village of Narváez in the Tarja Department of Bolivia.
The individual heads of the plant reach a diameter of approx. 4 cm. Numerous sprouds quickly create a cushion.
The approximately 4 cm large flowers are light pink, almost white, the outer petals are brighter pink.
Usually several flowers appear at the same time.
Seedlings usually bloom after just 2 - 3 years.
